A pistol grip stock I made for a Ruger 10-22 - pics

I saw this back in the closet the other day and recalled many years ago when I made it. I don't have the 10/22 in it right now so more details can be seen.

I also made a collapsible/folding stock with a unique latch, but the pics didn't turn out clear, so maybe I can retake them and post them tomorrow.

I laminated three pieces of walnut boards together, rough cut it to shape and started machining on it. The inletting was done on a drill press with an X-Y vise and a wood router bit. Pretty much everything else was done by hand cutting, sanding, etc.

Cheek relief:

Thanks, LOL - firewood! Not out of walnut! Actually it just takes some time and patience and good tools.

I'll try to put it back together tonight, take some pics, and post them.
