Thx Bob (both!) - ahah well that being .32 explains the minimal muzzle rise seen in the vid clip - very controllable by all appearances.

Class 3 nailed all the info. There was a recent writeup in SWAT magazine about the scorpian. They look really fun to shoot. I wish the video would have gone a little longer so we could have seen the 50 cal.

There is a nice clip of Barrett - muzzle blast blowing stuff all over the place!

Then too another nice clip is of the MG34

That barrett was puttin' a hurtin' on that guys sholder. Although he didn't flinch when he dryfired after his second shot. I just love to watch videos. Does anyone have a video of someone firing the 50GI? Does it just look like a regular 1911 or is there much more muzzle flash?

I've been on the lookout for a clip Dingle but no luck yet. AFAIK it is externally ''just'' a 1911 - Bob can maybe confirm that or otherwise.

Maybe I can arrange to shoot the thing. Where it's made is only a 45min drive from my home. Though I'd bet I'd be tempted to place an order for one if I did.
