In the upper left corner is a Colt Commercial 1917 in a display box. This is at the gun shop up the road from me. This gun looks like Brand new, and don't believe it has been fired (or not in the last 50 or so years) They want $2500 for it. I have handled it and let me tell ya they don't get any nicer than this one.

The 1918 commercial next to it is about 60-65% and looks to have been owned by a lefty (by the wear marks) and they want $1200 for it (seems about twice whats its worth).

The other side is pretty rough, looks like it sat in some moisture for a while. Its been at the shop for about 6 months, and I've offered $550 several times and he won't go below $1,000, but the mint one in the case he only wants $2500 for The grips are about smooth from wear and it rattles horribly when you shake it. The one in the display case is a thing of beauty though, the pic does it no justice.

I own one Colt. It's all I've ever wanted since seeing one from them: the bizarre strike-era parkerized "Peacekeeper" revolver in .357

Then again, I am a sucker for parked revolvers.

Bud,

That's the one. I saw one with a 6 inch barrel at a gun show awhile back.
