Worse...MUCH Much worse.
Like firing a 3" double barreled derringer with two 12 Ga shotgun shells both going off at the same time. That would be about the same felt recoil. |

It probley held together just fine .. if it was a custom built gun im sure it would the double rifles for 600 nitro were not super thick barrels so it wouldn't be hard to make sure it didn't blow up

That's commonly referred to as a Howdah pistol. Lee Jurras has made a bunch of them, .577s, .600s etc.
Oops, got the .600 wrong, There were 100 Howdahs made - 30 in .460, 14 in .500, 2 in .475, 8 in .416, one .577. most of the 100 were .375. http://www.leejurras.com/howdah.htm
