Same old stuff from the people with strong emotional feelings against the use of firearms. No matter what article I come across that has any mention of "guns serve no good purpose" they all say the same thing,

"I don't like guns, and neither should you!"

I would love to see some of these anti-gun people say what they're saying now when they are at the mercy of street thugs and armed burglars, and they don't have a gun to defend themselves.

If they lived through it, it would cause them to become more vehement about guns. They would rather say that without guns there would have been no crime rather than a gun would help them in a crime if they had one. It is pure hate that makes people rationalize the irrational fear of an inanimate object. I have often wondered the same, would they not want the help of someone who is legally carrying when they are being violated somehow?

"...nobody ever uses a gun for self-defense..." is so stupid it is likely to cause a brain aneurysm just to read it and believe someone could make the statement. I'm not from South Florida. Has this guy been declared legally retarded?

If he hasn't he should be. That is one of the craziest things I've ever heard. I am, from south Florida, and I wouldn't want to walk the streets of palm beach, Fort Lauder dale, or Fort Myers, without my gun....."That would be insane".!!!!!!
