According to the IMFDB page for the series, he used both the Beretta and the Taurus variant at different times during the series' run.

Janq, you beat me to it.

And BTW, according to IMFDB, those actually weren't 93Rs, they were 92FS with auto trigger groups installed. You can tell by the slide-mounted safety. The 93R's safety is frame-mounted.

I love WW2 guns, from any nation. One that comes to mind is the 1911 Tom Hanks had in Saving Private Ryan.
