Yes, a gun is a weapon. But the danger comes from the mind attached to the trigger finger.
Caliber doesn't matter if you can't hit your target.

Sad. Woefully sad.

Can't say I'm surprised really. These days, they'll look for any excuse no matter what. If you don't give them one, they might create one of their own reasons. Our company has excessively filtered the internet for publicly accessible computers. Folks used to enjoy my screen savers on the main access desktop. Not anymore. Now it's default Windows making a dull environment for others.

Sounds like he started a sheep stampede at the company!

Planco said its managers decided to fire Jackson, who has "an apparent fascination with guns," rather than "risk the potential safety of other Planco employees."
And it's that easy.

Caution.

Proof positive that companies that don't respect the 2A don't respect the 1A either.

That is one primary reason I don't discuss my 2A view with the majority of the people I deal with at the office. This is rare but I don't want to risk being labeled a "gun nut."

My immediate supervisor knows I CC on the job. He's a former LEO of 8 years "on the job" so he understands my reasoning. He & I have an "understanding" that he that we don't recall certain aspects of discussions when it comes to certain subjects. Carrying firearms is one of those subjects. We both know that we each CC, but that's as far as I want to ask him. As a former LEO he is an excellent source of information as well.

I consider my immediate supervisor a good friend!
