Oh, you are so on the money, John. I'm yelling at my wife, "What's that crazy so and so thinking!!?" Along with that is that the BG just murdered a half dozen friends and family (they were on the Altell plan) and the hero/heroine does grab the gun but runs. Far be it from them to put two rounds in the heart and one in the head!

Actually, I prefer crossdraw but finally gave it up when 1. barrel stuck in my groin when sitting and 2. No range (rightfully so) allows crossdraw training that I have been involved with.

And along with that: "Independence Day". After working six years with Navy student pilots and seeing what they went through for TWO YEARS to get qualified in a jet or helicopter, we have crop dusters or Cessna pilots who jump in F15's and blow Martians out of the sky. Yeah, that's gonna happen.

Well, as long as I'm stealing this thread (did anyone notice I'm on break) another favorite along this line: In the old movie "The Final Countdown", I had some Navy jocks burst out laughing (They affectionately called it, "The Final Letdown") when a bunch of F14's took off from the carrier "sans ordinance" but, moments later, fighting the Zero's, they mysteriously have bombs under their wings.

Hey in the original Halloween II (that sounds so wrong...) they shot him, blew him up, and I think he also was lit on fire and fell/thrown out of the upper story (3rd?) of a building. He still came back in the sequels.

Was watching an episode of Heroes the other night, guy is holding a double barrel shotgun on two other characters and just before he fires you here a slide being racked, never seen a pump action double barrel before.

I was watching Slaughter the other night, and at the end they have a double barrel shotgun that fires 3 shots without reloading in a couple of scenes and then in one scene she fires 2 shots and drops the shotgun later the other girl picks it up and low and behold it has 2 more shots.

Has anyone mentioned that scene in Predator when Dillon (Carl Weathers) has his arm blown off by the Pred and the HK94 he was holding continues to fire after it and the severed arm fall to the ground. I'm pretty sure you can actually see a wire on the trigger since his finger isn't anywhere near inside the trigger guard anymore!
