In Torchwood, I LOL'd one night after the main character, Jack Harkness fired his Webley revolver, yet you heard the sound of brass hitting the ground! I gotta get me one of them auto-ejecting Webleys!
Every single scene in The Bourne trilogy had this *click, click* Also. Has anyone ever been able to disassemble a SIG of any kind without dropping the magazine like Jason Bourne did in The Bourne Identity? He racked the slide back, hid some type of button or something and the slide flys off.

Watch it again, he missed many times. He was also leading a moving target without adjusting the scope. That's actually something you can do, but is hard to do accurately if not impossible so I'll give you that.

Here's one that annoys me. A movie gets mostly everything about the firefights, gun handling, positioning, ready position, stance, etc. Yet the movie sucks horrifically. Miami Vice is one such example...terrible. The show was so great, but the movie so bad.

You know, you really can do that trick with a Beretta, but I'm not certain if it'll work with the mag inserted.

That gag was also featured in some of the Lethal Weapon movies with Mel Gibson. I almost stopped seeing his stuff after he said that anti-NRA line in the third movie. Along with the whole BOGUS "cop killer" plot line. A 9mm "armor piercing" round that slices right thru the blade of a bulldozer to kill the bad guy! PUH-LEASE. But I knew the whole deal was all orchestrated by Hollyweird when Gibson's character uttered the line about the psycho with the flame thrower being a rep for the NRA. The way he said it, you could tell he didn't really believe it. He's an awesome actor. If he wanted it to resonate he'd have made us believe the line. Some really antigun actor like STALLONE or CLOONEY would have relished the line so much you'd feel it in your guts. But Mel Gibson is very conservative and pro-gun. He is or used to be a member of the John Birch Society. One of their magazine covers was on the wall in the movie "Conspiracy Theory." I've heard that from members of the group, too.

I've always admired Steven Segal's never-ending clip for the MP-5 he was spraying with in Under Siege.

Seriously... did you ever once see anyone reload during that movie?

When the person has to rack the slide before the gun fight scene and the two handed carry they have when the camera pans down on the weapon.

I just saw Couples Retreat w/ Vince Vaughn. The hears something and grabs his handgun from a gunvault type safe w/ the finger combo. I’m thinking nice. Then he pulls out the gun, inserts a mag and racks it – Why lock up an unloaded gun?? He then proceeds to go thru the house w/ the classic finger on the trigger.

Started out good w/ the gun safe and went downhill from there.

It does, it also works with a loaded magazine.

If someone in the real world has the dexterity and time to do that trick with your Beretta, while you have the drop on them, then you should be dead. Other tricks are if you can grab the cylinder on a revolver before it is cocked, or if you grab the slide and push it back on a 1911 so as to keep the firing pin from striking the primer. These actions are supposed to stop the firearm from shooting, but you would have to be faster than a speeding bullet.
