Ruger mini 14
I was at the local gun store this weekend.
They had a mini 14 for sale, It was marked law enforcment only. It still had the cruiser # on the back of the rifle just below the rear sight. My question if anybody knows is what was done to this rifle to make it legal for civilian owenership? |

What was done to it to make it "Law Enforcement only"? other than a metal engraving and possible sale during the banned years

Its probably just a holdover from the AWB. I know that I still get issued Magazines that say "For Law Enforcement or Military use only", and aside from the engraving are no different than other GI mags.
