UNusual grips for a Kimber UC II

I purchased a Kimber Ultra Carry SP II a week ago and have already decided it is the gun for me. Now, if you are not familiar with this weapon it has a very unique finish. But the grips are...well...not unique. So, I am looking for some VERY unique grips. I have googled and ebayed, but only found the "Punisher" grips that are slightly unusual. I need something REALLY unusual. Maybe custom. Any ideas????

Check out the Damascus grips here. They look really expensive, and really cool, and might be what you're looking for. :)

I like the Damascus 1911 Grips, but 18 months to get them???? Esmeralda is wood and I don't think they will work, but I like them for another pistol. Sarge is like Esmeralda.

Thanks for the input. I probably would not have found the Damascus Grips.

Use snakeskin, there's someone on EBay selling them.

Anybody ever hear of Herrett's Stocks?
Gun stocks by Herrett's Stocks, Inc.
I only know about them because I grew up in that area, and my Dad worked there for some period of time before I was born. They're mostly competitive target style grips, but you said very unusual...

OT, but kind of interesting, back when the space program was first going and they needed a custom grip for the stick which the astronaut used to steer the capsule (wearing astronaut gloves, of course), they came to Herrett's with the glove, and my Dad helped make the first grips in space! True story.

edit to add, that's one sweet looking little Kimber!

what type of finish is that?
With the right grips that will be a trully "different" looking pistol.
And a Kimber to boot.
Nice!

Seriously...if you can latch onto a set of these...they are really classy.
