S/a Ultra Compact

I bought a barley used Ultra Compact (less than 500 rounds). I've shot about 500 more. What can I do to make it shoot smoother? I will have the trigger worked on next week, what else can be done to smooth it out? I would like to us it for a carry piece.

What seems to be that you don't like? does slide feel gritty as you hand cycle it without recoil spring ?

Does it string shots?

Little more info

Trigger job is usually the way to go plus have a good extractor fit like a Ed brown or wilson

It just seems to stiff & slow working like everything is to tight.

Sometimes you will not fit with the gun. After this many rounds and you do not like the way the gun shoots, then it is time to sale the gun.

Gotta agree w/ frankmako. If it doesn't feel right , find something that does. I know I cannot shoot a less than 4" barrelled pistol with much accuracy.(Atleast for my standards).
