| Knives & Other Weapons Most people that carry concealed also carry a knife or other weapon as a backup. Finding a good blade is often harder than finding a good pistol or revolver. |

I live in the country in Oklahoma and my son goes to a country school 7 miles from the nearest town. Most of the boys have a pocket knife with them as many of them have chores to feed their horses, sheep, pigs or goats before school. While they are not supposed to carry a knife the only kids that get in trouble for it are the jerks that deserve it after starting trouble. When my daughter started school there in 1991 many of the kids brought guns to school after hunting turkey, deer or coyotes on the way to school. The Clinton era fixed that and now they get supended if a spent .22 round is found in the bed of their pickup. So they are pretty reasonable about knives but dizzy about guns and ammo. At least they have zero problems with gangs at his school.
