Knives & Other Weapons Most people that carry concealed also carry a knife or other weapon as a backup. Finding a good blade is often harder than finding a good pistol or revolver.

Lowes sells a good Gerber folding knife for $20. You can't use it to pry bricks out of walls, but it is very sturdy and will nearly ruin a BG's day when drawn across his carotid artery or thrust into his solar plexus.
