Defensive Knives & Other Weapons Most people that carry a gun also carry a knife or other weapon as a backup. Finding a good blade is often harder than finding a good pistol or revolver.

That's a good system! The waved Endura is "normal" looking being that just about everyone knows what they are & then you have the P'Kal for any SD issues. Good idea.

I just got a waved Endura set-up for reverse wave also. I also carry a FB or 2.

ditto

i've also got a little-bitty swiss-army knife that's for the "hey, does anyone have a knife" moments...don't want to attract too much attention by scarring the

Looks a formidible tool Matt - when used as designed.

I would certainly be wanting to stay (at least) the famous 21' away from you in a ''situation''

If SouthNarc had influence then I'd say it has to be good.

The P'kal is a great knife. After a few nicks and cuts, I've gotten fairly proficient with it. I just wish they made a trainer model.

I think I've finally gotten over my phobia of assisted openers and hopefully this December will be a good one to me for knives. The P'kal looks right along the lines of what I've been looking for in a self-defense knife instead of the utility knife my Gerber's always been.

A trainer? Bah, who needs a trainer. Chicks dig scars.

BOOM-STICK Holsters
KenpoTex,
nice review. I really want one of those. It is now first on my list right in front of the Emerson Commander. For now I make due with this crkt, but it is bulkier than I like, and it would probably look a little aggressive before a jury if I ever had to use it for sd purposes.
