| Knives & Other Weapons Most people that carry concealed also carry a knife or other weapon as a backup. Finding a good blade is often harder than finding a good pistol or revolver. |

Beautiful knife. Two thumbs up for me. I never got good at balisongs, but I have a soft spot for a pretty blade.

Here's where I got the kit
http://www.knifekits.com/store/s-pag...main.htm~smain I think everybody should try to put one of these together. The unmodified kit takes only a little bit of file fitting to work. It's plain and boring, but it works. Drilling the steel handle or fitting the inlay pieces to the handle takes a bit more skill. Polishing it only takes patience FWIW the company was good to deal with and sells lots of neat stuff. All of their stuff I have is of good quality. I'm working on a Tanto from one of their blanks now. I'm making it with an orange colored wood handle to match the wooden practice Tantos. Thanks to all for the comments. I can always use the encouragement. |

Oh, You built it from a kit, That's cool, kits are a blast to build. When I first started i was building kits, well then I got the bug. (be careful you don't get it)
now I make them in the stock removal method, got the big 2x72 belt sander, different grinders, clamps and jigs, heat treat oven etc...etc... The next step when I get the room will be a forge and making my own damaskus. Yep knife making is a blast, It's a great hobby and for some has turned out to be a full time profession. Have fun and build more, You certainly have the talent for it. Longbow
