Knives & Other Weapons Most people that carry concealed also carry a knife or other weapon as a backup. Finding a good blade is often harder than finding a good pistol or revolver.

New SOG Flash IIs

The clip on my Cold Steel folder was getting...no..was worn out. It wouldn't stay clipped to my pocket when I sat down any longer so I decided to pickup a new pocketknife yesterday.
It has been a LOOOONG time since I bought a new knife...I hadn't seen the new assisted opening features. Sog calls it SOG Assisted Technology. It isn't a spring..that would be illegal for civilian use..but it is QUICK.
I couldn't pass 'em up. I decided to get two. One for the front stong side pocket, one for weak rear pocket.

now..does anyone know if the clips on the SOG folders are reversible?

The website says the clip is reversible. Nice knife, my GF has one.

The clips are reversable you just need the correct size allen for it. Really simple to do. The clips on these knives are super strong and last for a long time.

I carried one for 3-4 years. I did have to be careful as the safety would engage in my pocket. It would always draw a look when I opened it up- It opens with authority- Thunk! It is a decent knife I just got bit by the Benchmade.

I had a Flash II and had problems with the clip on mine. That's actually how I ended up losing the thing.

I went to Sog in Washington state they are 15 min. away from me. I picked up a tiger strip "trident" model. When I deploy the blade it gets looks from the sheep. When your knife comes to you go ahead and practice the blade release with one hand, then when you get good, practice putting the blade back with one hand quickly. When you master that with out taking your fingers off your good to go. Its a great knife. Just make sure you get right allen wrench size to change out the clip.

Do a search for "SOG" in this forum, you'll see.
