Defensive Knives & Other Weapons Most people that carry a gun also carry a knife or other weapon as a backup. Finding a good blade is often harder than finding a good pistol or revolver.

Beautiful knife. I've had a chance to play with one that a marine brought back. She let me fondle it for a while before I had to give it back to her.
<sigh>, oh well, can't carry them here anyway.

Sears has the smallest torx drivers of anybody I've found. Got several to keep in various locations: work bench, truck console etc.

Yata hey

Thx FN - that looks good .......... may be that ELCruisr may be able to fix me up - I don't get to Lowes a lot and can't think of a local hobby shop worth bothering with.

I've managed without for a good while so - looks like one way or another I'll get something organized .. thx guys.

Radio Shack has tool sets with that size torx bit.

I've got 3 automatics, 1 Benchmade, 2 GT knives 1 large and 1 small. I use to carry them before I got my CCW in Oklahoma. I didn't want to take a chance on loosing my CCW. Sine then I've gotten into carrying 1 handed Benchmade w/ATS-34 steel Blades and I also carry a non automatic GT knife with ATS-34 steel blade. I love a good auto but I'm more into keeping legal here in Oklahoma now. The one pictured is a great looking example.

BTW - anyone ....... those Torx screws look small - and I have small ones on my EDC Kershaw ...... where the heck can you get that small size driver? All sets I see stop at the number just larger than this.

This is the Scallion - not meaning to hijack but seems like a chance to ask for info on this Torx deal.

Chris, for working on knives and such I went to my local Radio Shack and bought this set. Kronus™ 20-Piece Electronics Bit-Driver Set The online store shows out of stock, but your store probably has one. It has come in handy for a number of other things. I have kicked myself several times for not spending the $15 earlier. If they had it here they should have it anywhere.

Come on, Chris. Admit it. You hijacked the thread. As a Assistant Administrator you should be taken to the wood shed for that. There is plenty of good info about Torx drivers though.

I am thoroughly castigated!

Indeed a wealth of info - more than useful and more than I expected too.
