| Defensive Knives & Other Weapons Most people that carry a gun also carry a knife or other weapon as a backup. Finding a good blade is often harder than finding a good pistol or revolver. |

That is an awesome buy on a knife of that quality and blade material.
The seratted edge should be perfect in your profession. It'd great for cutting seat belts, etc. I carry an Almar SLB roughly the same size. It's folds up small enough that it fits in my watch poclet on my jeans, and the clip holds it solidly. Mine is AUS8 Moki Japanese steel, no serations. That is one of the best blades I have used. I do have a CCH license, and my NA mini 22mag and the knife are always in my pocket. I really can't think of a reason for buying a serrated blade. Sharpening concerns me, but my Spyderco System has a section on the proper angles and method to sharpen a seratted edge. I need to try it on a steak knife for practice. Great choice, and at that price you could afford to keep on in your vehicle emergency kit. ![]() |
