Knives & Other Weapons Most people that carry concealed also carry a knife or other weapon as a backup. Finding a good blade is often harder than finding a good pistol or revolver.

No doubt about it...
ALWAYS bring a gun to a knife fight!

Stay armed...get the first shot...stay safe!

Human beings can be extrodinarily tough. Saw one guy 147 cut/stab wounds live. Another 4 to the heart & live, Another 30 stab wounds 6 through a lung (collapsed) 1 through the heart also live. It ain't never like the movies with one to the chest, drip a couple of drops and keel over dead. It is always wet smelly and ugly

That meth addict picture was pretty impressive - I guess those bugs must really get to you after a while, but how about seeking some medical attention buddy! Talk about your bad drugs. Yowsa.

I always carry at least one knife - even if I can't carry my gun, I can almost always carry a knife - and its a lot better than nothing. I've seen some pretty impressive things done with a comb or a toothbrush too though...weapons of opportunity are everywhere.

I've been training in Filipino martial arts for several years, and blade fighting is an integral part of our training.

This just goes to prove what I've learned from my trianing and what I tell the newbies coming in...you do NOT want to get into any kind of knife altercation if at all possible.

In all reality, nobody needs specialized training to use a knife. For firearms, sure, any idiot can pull a trigger, but you've got to know how to use the controls, line up sights, etc.

With a knife, it's simple: pointy end goes in the other fella. Repeat as necessary.

Looks like stuff at see at work all the time. A couple of the more memorable ones I have seen was someone with a 12" file jammed into their ear and broken off, also a couple people with knives jammed straight into their skull and broken off. Also seen a tent steak in someones chest. All the more reason to carry.

Graphic stuff and no mistake...eek! I already practice moving off of the X a lot but now I'll be working on head shots as well. That was a well needed shocking reminder not to take a knife too lightly. Thanks.
