Knives & Other Weapons Most people that concealed carry also carry a knife or other weapon as a backup. Finding a good blade is often harder than finding a good pistol or revolver.

I will do that next time. Thanks. What puzzles me is that they gave me a brand new Cyclone each time and within weeks (or days!) it did it again. I am not hard on knives so it's a mystery to me but I will try the torsion bar.

no mystery...it's a kershaw (I'm only half joking).

Im not sure. I do not own any cyclones, maybe they use the same torsion bar (spring) as the leek and its too week to handle to heavier blade. All I know is my leeks and blurs have been rock solid except for the one leek that was a few years old and had been opened thousands of times. You could try loosening the pivot screw also, maybe stuff is getting in there and causing it not to open correctly because its too tight.

Kenpo, I'd like to follow up with you on that. Seriously. I've heard great things about Kenshaw and I love the Cyclone design but four brand new knives in a row is unacceptable! tx!
ps. you can email me if you want so as not to start a trash thread on Kenshaw: aznav@comcast.net

XD, Kenshaw graciously let me trade up for a Blur at no extra charge. Worked like a charm so far but I still miss the style and size of the Cyclone. Can't have it both ways!

I carry the same knife as Ridgeline (buddy of mine). No problems as of yet for me and Ridgeline hasn't said anything to me about a problem.
