Real Estate Investor, Real Estate Broker, Freelance Scaleable WiFi System Consultant...in that order. Investing affords me ability to make my schedule thus I can play with my 2yr old baby girl anytime I wish. Broker affords me an inside for investing and commission from my agents and listings (I don't work buyers, I pass them off to my buyers agent for a comission). Consultant affords me quick lump sum cash and also keeps me sharp in the technology field. However I'm doing less and less of this lately but I'm still dinking around with technology quite a bit.

Well guess a Jack of Anything and Master Of None....
All kidding aside I served in the US Army as a CID Agent and made rank of CW2 and left the service for a civilian LEO in Oklahoma till a line of incident forced me into medical retirement. Was active as an EMT and Firefighter for my local department for over 25 years till I up and relocated to Indiana and attained the rank of District Chief(Captain) most departments and currently driving a truck over the roadfor a while and now staying fairly local 4 states and home almost daily. It pays the bills but its not what I want to do, but not too much work for a guy who is disabled with a medical retirement pension.I also have been learning gunsmithing from a few local gunsmiths and enjoying it alot and its something I can do from home at my own pace.

Microbiologist, well now I'm a paper pusher who doesn't even push real paper. I am still classified as a microbiologist and still get to work in the lab every now and then.

I am the poster child for "Rust-out" (opposite of burn-out). They call me a Paramedic. In reality, I sit around my rural EMS station for 60 hours each week (M-F, 0600-1800), on the computer, watching TV, sleeping, taking walks around town. Once or twice a week we'll actually fire up the ambulance and go see a patient. About half of our contacts even result in a trip to the hospital! Of course I've been there and done that for a long time, so I am enjoying my semi retirement.

Former Critical Care transport Paramedic, ED tech, wheelchair van driver, security officer, deputy, correctional officer, retail sales, grocery clerk, and my favorite: ditch digger (everything they say about that job is true).
