While I was still in the USMC reserve I was an apprentice welder/pipefitter. Became a journeyman and traveled around building stuff and fixing nuke plants and such. Got married in 98, traveling slowed, was building a plant near home and had a baby in 2000, so traveling stopped. (By the way, so did that nice income)
Now Job 1. Dad Job 2. Husband Job 3 & 4 below I went back to college full time, and got an AS in Legal Studies and a general AA. Now work part time in a law firm, and am finishing my BA in Environmental Studies next semester. If I can do good enough on this blasted LSAT I'm studying for, I plan to start law school next year. Environemental Law is my passion, as I would one day like to work for some conservation org like DU or PF on an in house basis, maybe even lobbying for them. Going to school full time and working on real estate and probate law part time is making me real poor, so I'm thinking about becoming a part time panhandler too. Any donations would be appreciated. I can't ask my wife for more money because she's a Postal worker and has an AK, so I don't like to upset her much.![]()

I’m a Mechanical Engineer, working at a DOD R&D lab. I basically manage R&D projects, test & evaluate military equipment and make sure the Solders & Marines get the good equipment they deserve.

Learned electronics repair during the 9 years I served in the Navy. Got out in '77 went to work for Digital Equipment Corp. Earned a BS in Computer Science in '85 (credentials for the job I was performing). Moved on to Field Service and Computer Consulting working on Email integration projects. Vicitm of downsizing (being in the wrong place at the wrong time) in 2000. Opened a pet shop specializing in parrots. Now mostly do puppies as the parrot business is pretty flat right now.
Positioning myself for retirement in a couple years when I can start drawing from the IRA... Allan |

Hello
I'm currently a firefighter and Paramedic in Florida. Do lots of Hazmat, aircraft rescue and firefighting, and instruct in fire and EMS. Part time, I'm a gun plumber in a small gunshop and indoor range.
Before that...did lots of stuff. Mostly jobs I'm glad I don't have anymore. Also a former ERAU student. Glad to meet you all. |

Video animation (after 25 years as a musician/tour manager). Don't know what I'll do when I grow up though.
