I work for a reputable (solo practitioner) Board Certified Plaintiff Attorney. I am his Trial Assistant and have held employment with the Law Firm for 24 years.

In 2001, we were involved in a case that was tried to Verdict. It was the 4th largest verdict in the entire Nation. The verdict, $225,000,000.00 (two hundred twenty-five million dollars) remains the largest non-compensatory [personal injury] verdict in Texas.

My Boss is an Ex-Marine who allows all his CHL'd staff (4 employees) to carry at the office. He carries a Colt Commander 45acp. EVERY DAY!

What do I do..................

I am a retired disabled vet. I ran my fathers financial planning firm for two years only to sell the firm and it's assets (clients) to the two other partners. I am now a full time student at NKU seeking a Pre-Med degree in the biological sciences dept of the university. Although now it's simply referred to as "Pre Professional Sciences Applications"..................I've never heard so much whining from 20 yr old adults in my life.

Do you also limit them to one broken toilet on the porch and one refrigerator in the yard?

I'm a Supervisory Producer-Director (GS-1071-11) for the Department of the Army. My job title is Chief, Visual Information Branch. I supervise the Visual Information efforts at Fort Lee, VA - video production, photography, audiovisual support, etc.

Stumbled into this career field in the Army. I went from being a Ground Surveillance Radar Section Sergeant to an Army Broadcaster ( I did TV News and radio DJing at AFN Bremerhaven in the early 80's). After a medical discharge for diabetes, went to college on Uncle's dime, thanks to the VA, and eventually found my way into Civil Service.

I am the integration manager for a leading telecom/untility/broadcast shelter manufacturer. We build a lot of those little buildings you see under cell phone towers. Integration is just a fancy word for equipment installer. I like to stuff 10lbs of electronics into a 5lb capacity sack.

My daily commute is about 4 blocks through a town of less than 2k. Kids ages 3,2,1 at home. I get my relaxation diring the daytime, being Dad after work is a bit hectic!
