I walk people through setting up Outlook Express and rebooting their cable box and checking their phones for dial tones for a small city utility.

What do you do???????

I was a firefighter / EMT but due to a injury I sold our farm, cattle, equipment and moved to Colorado 18 months ago. I'm now working as the Director of Risk Management for a Agriculture holdings company.

Work personell & training for a medium sized PD which entails running our second station. I also started up a security/protection/PI company with my cousin, who's a LAPD reserve (I usually don't hold that against him).

Lead Control Room Operator at a fossil fueled electrical generation plant. Been there for 26 years.

We just completed an eight million dollar control sysetm upgrade. I spent the last year and a half helping to design the graphics and do the factory acceptance testing on the system.

I'm a senior software engineer. I currently work out of a home office for a large software company. I develop network management software that large corporations use to monitor and manage their computer networks and portions of the Internet. Even though I've worked on the same product (and with the same people) my entire 11-year career, I've worked for 4 different companies (through aquisitions, etc.)

Retired from the Marines in '99 as a MGySgt.

Went into trucking. Bought my own tractor and refer trlr. Wife got her CDL when our nest became empty. Got our own DOT authority...going totally independent. We teamed produce coast to coast for 3 yrs for brokers. Made enough $ to be debt free.

For the past 3 yrs I've been running the same solo trip from Topeka to Chicago and back once a week. A "niche" load that pays handsomely. I work 3 days, which leaves me plenty of time for home projects and IPSC on weekends.

Life is good!
