AFS,
Have you been to Bill Jackson's in Pinellas Park? (Easy to get to from St. Pete or Tampa.) It's been quite a while since I've been there, but it used to be "the" place to go for Scuba gear, fly fishing equipment, and it did have a pretty good gun room, at least one good gunsmith that I knew, and an indoor range. I hear it's been seriously "Yuppie-fied," but you should give it a look. mm

aHHHhh.. I visit BassPro shops quite often. Love that place. Interesting to know they are opening(gander) Oct 6th (this friday!) I was unaware of what Gander Mountain was, although now I am glad to know I can go and "browse" (buy) more interesting items from a store like BPS.
thanks for the link Steve. AFS- Have you found out if you are going to be able to make it to the gunshows this weekend? Hopefully you wont have to babysit! Suncoast in tampa, Southern gun and knife classic @ orlando fairgrounds. Keep me posted- Shaun
