Pahrump??? You mean "Water Rock?"!! I use to drive there daily for 3 years, 135 mi roundtrip. Sure glad I retired, and dont have to drive 160 (the Widow Maker) anymore, with all the growth out that way, and no decent roads. It was bad before that new subdivision went in, but now, it's 10x worse.

I can dig it John. I avoid heading your way if at all possible. Now that we have a Wal-Mart supercenter,[ read cheap practice ammo ] I rarely head into Clark County.

I just saw the thread! I lived in Vegas 1991-2000, then moved back last year, fortunately I bought my house in 1992, and rented it rather than sell it during the 5 years away. Given that my house tripled in value, I'm glad that I made that choice! By the way, Jim, I actually got the reference.
