Virginia: NoVa checking in

Manassholian here.

To keep it on topic, is there any good training in the NoVa region that goes beyond "this is a gun and it goes 'bang'\"? I'm looking for something that goes into tactics and handling that would benefit me as a CCW holder.

I'm north of you up by WVa.

The NRA will host some of the majors several times a year. Otherwise hit and miss. Mostly LEO stuff that I\'m aware of around here. Facilities seem to be a major problem in this area. If you are willing to go several hours away you can get some decent training.

Gabe Suarez is doing a 2 day course in Thurmont MD the end of May.

Just thought I would post in a VA forum (keep this forum active for those who check the "New Posts")--places to go, see, shoot, carry, etc...Does VCDL show a presence here?? Bueller?...Bueller?

I was a VCDL member until September when I moved and coincidentally my membership expired. Otherwise I'm not aware of any other VCDL members here. Good group though and I supported when I lived in VA.
