The Sage of Seattle
My home base is Seattle, though I'm currently living in Boise for some surgery and PT. I'm going abroad in July, but I'm working on getting back to Seattle again before then. I'd love to meet some new friends, so drop me a PM if anyone's interested in shooting sometime.

Small world, my nephew is in Boise and I trained out there for my transition into the Abrahms tank...at a small ARNG post but I forget the name of the place. When I was on active duty I was stationed at Fort Lewis and partied all the time in Seattle. Love PIKE MARKET. Member of REI and habitual shopper at Eddie Bauer. Back then if you made your living in the woods (Infantry Officer) you knew that the army stuff was crap and the best place to find comfortable stuff was those two places in Seattle. Does REI still occupy an entire city block?

And hey, Class3NH! I'm not only in Seattle, but I was born in New Hampshire. It's been fun seeing references to both ends of the US that I've lived (you can throw the gulf coast in there too, in MS).

I'm actually in Federal Way, for any WA folks checking in.

Did we ever have a G2G? I'd love to meet fellow WA CCWers, maybe learn some of the ropes of carrying here.

(BTW, I remember Warshall's on 1st ave.)
Does that other Gun Shop still reside next to where warshall's was? I remember going into it, poking around and they always enjoyed my accent of "paaaaaaaaaaaaaak tha caaaaaaaaaaaa" (park the carI ferried from Port Orchard to work there. I enjoyed every second of life out there in Wa state

Hmmm... the only one that comes to mind for me is the REI on Denny next to I-5. I remember that quite clearly, for I was a condo manager on a property just on the other side of the freeway and they got all hot and bothered that their view was going to be eclipsed by the (then) new REI building. That was about ten, eleven years ago though.

Can't wait to get back there!

I have access to some private land which only about 8 people use. I wish there was another range besides the Spokane Rifle Club. I DO know you can use rifles at Center Target Sports in Post Falls, if you want to give an indoor range a try. I would call them to see if they restrict any calibers and what not.
