Howdy Jacob!

None of those folks from other states appreciate green chile the way we do. :)

If we get a pile of folks going here, we ought to see about a get-together. We\'re planning one over at The High Road forums - it\'s to be at the El Camino cafe down in Socorro at 11 a.m. on the 29th, with a range visit to follow. (Check the \"Rallying Point\" forum at THR for more info if interested.)

Green Chile, probaby the number one reason I won\'t move anywhere else!:)

Get together sounds good. Have to check on dates, I think I\'m running a FAST defense class on the 30th, but not definite. I\'ll peek over at THR and get details.

We aren\'t all greenies. Some of us likes a dab of red now and then! Goes better with the huevos.

As I gained wisdom, I became a red chile man. However, red chile that is not properly made from quality pods is not really worth eating (because it\'s such a pale reflection of what it should be).

Accordingly, I find I only eat red at certain trustworthy restaurants (and family members'homes, and church events).

Green chile, I used to think, is hard to mess up. Alas, as my taste becomes more refined, I find more green chile out there that\'s not worth eating. Again, the quality of the peppers is of such vital importance (we got some wonderful stuff from Lemitar this year), but the chef\'s skill is also of some moment.

Mmm, I want to go have lunch! :)
