Just wanted you to know, Corey got back to me, and I sent in the registration today for my wife and I to attend the May NRA Basic Pistol course. I'll be in touch with you again before that though.

By the way, I finally got to take out my new Glock 27 and put a couple hundred rounds down range on Saturday.

Wow! That is the best functioning, most accurate out-of-the-box pistol I've ever owned.

I've had an H&K USP .45, a Para Ordnance LDA .45, a Beretta Cougar with both .40 and .357Sig barrels, and a Kel Tec P-11 and a P-3AT.

But I couldn't shoot any of them as well as I shot this G27. It was just fantastic.

Great - glad you have got booked up. As for the 27 - well I put some rounds thru a NIB 17 last year and was amazed at accuracy and function - and I am not a Glock fan really.

Not really surprised about the 27 I guess - good news indeed.

229 - well not close exactly but reckon it is not too different in distance from Pitt for me - let's say nominally 100 miles.

Wasn't there an old Fort built on the land that the town of Bedford occupies now?

Correct Adrian - in Bedford Town - there is still a section called ''Bedford Fort'' - close to banks of Juniata River.

Not much there now that looks like a fort tho!

Mulling over a small shoot end of May - it will be in Portage - just South of Ebensburg. Nothing definite yet but hope it may work out.

Won't be got huge numbers - range is small, tho does reach out to 400 or 500.

I'll post later if anything is gonna go down.
