Old Chief
I retired as the Industrial and Technical engineering department chairman of a local community college four years ago. I was a Navy instructor before I retired from the military and then twenty six years in our community college. Education has been good to me and for me.

I'm an administrative assistant in education. More specifically, in curriculum development and services. I work mostly with grants. I also go into schools and do presentations on new products.

Of course! We need good, pro-2A lawyers to defend us in cases of lawful deployment of our chosen protective tools.

I taught Social Studies for seven years at the high school level. I also coached football, basketball, and baseball as well.

I now work as the ISS (In-School Suspension) Coordinator. I deal with behavior issues everyday. I am probably the most hated teacher (By the students that get in trouble that is!) on campus because I run a tough program. Its ok, I have big shoulders and I can handle that. I do get some satisfaction from knowing that some of the kids do appreciate what I am trying to do for them.

I am currently working on a Master's degree in School Administration.

Ummmm NO. Sorry. I remember my law school experience like it was yesterday and it was in fact 1986. It was a lot worse than PAPER CHASE the movie. The reality is that you enjoy an enviable position...you are supposed to make the students cry (Damn Socratic method) while in the real world it is usually the reverse.

However we certainly do NEED pro 2nd Amendment law profs for sure and I humbly thank you for bucking the ATLA trend. I was just shouting out to the public school teachers like myself (I also teach criminal justice and law studies as well as psychology and American Gov't) who face the thugs (be they students or administrators) everyday and soldier on.

Nope - but

My wife and daughter are teachers. I just pay for the supplies the state and school district are too cheap to buy.

Retired Army, Taught Special Education for 9 years and now am a school psychologist. My wife is also a SPED teacher. I do a lot of work with the interesting behaviors. I have seen some interesting things brought to school over the past 14 years, some more sophisticated than what I own.
