Thumbs up Met up with JChoo today in VA.

I'm in VA on business again, but got to meet up with JChoo and head out to the range and a few shops. I got to drool over a HK P7M8 and "A" Grade P7, mean while JChoo was drooling over a Dan Wesson bob-tail.

Shot for a little over an hour, I finally got to try out an XD40, and he got to try out a couple .45s, my Colt 5" XSE and my Sig 220. Sat down and cleaned guns talking about this and that.

All for all it was a good day, except for that I still don't have an HK., but I'll have to rectify that.

It's nice meeting members of the forum, thanks Defensive Carry

Excellent John - great when there is a chance to meet folks from here - wish time and geography permitted me better opportunity. Even better when a shoot and gun swaps!

I am hoping to meet Kompact9 late weekend or early next week - as he and his lady wife are biking up these parts. Not sure if a shoot will be managed but at least a coffee and burger

I think it's a good thing that Lima didn't pick up the phone when you called... else you'd be trying to figure out how to get this move over with and pick up the HK before you even get the job offer. Nice meeting you, and good shootin'. I still can't believe those .357's had black powder in there.

Could have been worse, they could have had no powder

As for the HK, I checked around I can probably get a little but better of a deal elsewhere.

How'd you make out locating a pin for the Rossi?

Don't know if I'll be out that way for a while, most of my time in VA is spent more on the west end of the state.

Next time I'm down there it may be for good, so I'm sure we can get a small shoot togeather sometime.
