Those in Illinois
Who's out there representing Illinois? I just moved to Frankfort, a south/southwest suburb of Chicago. Always looking to meet folks and learn about the clubs they shoot at. I know there are 2 trap and skeet clubs nearby (Frankfort Sportsman Club and Palos Sportsman Club), but I am not aware of any clubs that encourage handgun shooting. Let me know if you do!

I moved from IL to FL, if you are looking for a place to shoot handguns, try Megasports in Plainfield, just west of I-55 (aka the Stevenson) on Rt 25.
Both the Auroura Sportsman's Club and the Sycamore Sportsmen have ranges, but I believe both are private clubs and you need to be sponsored. Don't know if any of those are close enough to you. |
