Floridian needs Philadelphia Info

Hi;
I have a FL permit which is recognized in PA.
My question, however, is do I need to know about any special laws (local or not) re Philadelphia and suburban areas nearby?

there are no special laws in regards to philly. the only difference between philly and thew rest of PA, as far as i know, is that CHLs are handed out by the police dept in philly, and the county sheriff's office in the rest of the state. philiadelphia would like to be different from the rest of PA, however, and there is a tradition of harrassing law abiding citizens who are armed, so be wary, especially in north philly.

One problem might be in getting there if you have to pass through DC and Maryland.
