Nice weekend coming up and a practical pistol match at LGC. Is anyone going out? I'll be shooting a couple Baer 1911s on Saturday and one at the match on Sunday.

I'm living in extreme SW Virginia now, Saint Paul to be exact. I'm relatively close to Bristol VA/TN and also W VA on the other "side" of me.
My wife's family has a 180+ acre farm behind where we live now, lots of cows, goats, sheep, and assorted wild critters including a old turkey with a HUGE beard runnin round. It's a very scenic area, the winters are moderate (I'm originally from Maine though), and there's not too much snowfall annually here. Most of the "local's" are either farmers, coal-miners, or a combination of the 2 in some capacity. |

Finally. Coming home in 10 days. My contract for this job in CA was for 8 weeks, but it became 7 months in the liberal den! Not complaining about the money, but I'm more than ready to be back in the Commonwealth.
