I noticed on the Texas thread that there was a half a dozen or so people in Aggieland and wondered if yall'd like to get together at Champions sometime.

I swear I have driven past the turn half a dozen times and missed it every time. They need some signs up on HWY 60. I missed it going toward Snook (yeah, that's the name of a real town) and I missed it coming back from Snook.

One of these days I'm going to take a handheld GPS and mark the spot as I go by at 70.

That is (seriously) one dangerous spot to slow down for the turn.

Mr. Perry needs to build us a toll road.

How far out on 60 is it? I get out Snook way about twice a lifetime , and I don't have a clue where this place is.

Thanks.

Gene.

That's the prob. It is somewhere between the Brazos River and Snook, on the left when you are headed toward Snook. I'd guess about 2/3 of the way. Like I said, I run past it at 70 every time. It is too dangerous to drive slowly while looking; and a left across oncoming can be a challenge. There is no turn lane.

It is a short ride really. Only a few miles from the airport entrance, just hard to spot.

They need some SIGNS on both sides of the road. Maybe even a sign about a half mile before the turn.
