SE Idaho Informal Combat Shoots 9/17, 10/1, 10/22

After the local group sort of evaporated, myself and a few of the other regular attendees at the range got together and have pieced together a couple matches in before it gets too cold to do anything.

Anybody who wants to is more than welcome to show up to our three gun shoots held at the Oregon Trail Range just outside of Pocatello, Idaho. Bring a handgun, rifle, and shotgun. If you don't have one of the three, you can beg, borrow, or acquire one from one of the regulars. Typically we recommend 100 rounds of pistol ammo, a box of 25 shotgun shells, and about 40-50 rifle rounds. You may or may not use it all at the match, but well, if you don't, you can always shoot it afterwards. ;)

The remainder of the schedule:

9/17 2 pm
10/1 2 pm
10/22 2 pm

We ask normally for a $3 range fee for non-members, but if any of you folks actually appear, I'll cover it out of my pocket.

I would also love to get back out there. I left in 1995, the last of the Navy guys at the site on INEL. 2 wonderful years in the heaven that is Idaho. I lived in Idaho Falls and loved it out there. I promised myself that even if it's after I retire I will live there again. Unfortuantely, they just won't pay me out there what they do here.
