Maryland: Ranges/Gun Shops Advice/Help
My wife's job called for her to go to a conference or convention or whatnot in Maryland this week.
Not a problem over the weekend; we're staying at my brother's in Virginia, which is a pretty good place to be gun-wise. It's the rest of the week that has me troubled. We're staying at or near "National Harbor". Which, as you Marylanders know, is in Maryland. We don't really want to get into what the laws are in Maryland about CCW and reciprocity & etc. They're bad. Very bad. Does anyone know of a place near "National Harbor" that has a good shooting range and a wide variety of rentable firearms? I've heard of one place, "Maryland Small Arms"...anyone here have any experience with them? For that matter, does anyone know of anywhere near or comparable? If so, what kind of rating would you give them? Any good gun shops near "National Harbor"? I really need some help here...I've got pistol withdrawal and I'm not even out of the Old Dominion yet.... It wouldn't have been so bad - - I was bringing a lot of work to do with me while on this little trip, but I got word the day we were leaving that the deal on which I was planning on working had simplified itself considerably, so now I am going to have plenty of time on my hands - - and I can only spend so much time in D.C. without getting ill. Talk to me friends and neighbors!
