Any Phoenix residents out there??

I'm going to be in Phoenix for the NRA convention and also want to see the sights.

Any must sees, not sees you'd recommend??

The only part of Phoenix I've ever seen is the inside of your airport.

Well, at least the inside of the airport is nice and cool.

If you have the time the Grand Canyon is worth the trip and honestly that's about it.

Jerome AZ, is a nice artsy community. Real near Sedona. The Haunted Hamburger is a resturant in Jerome. It is on a side of the cliff over-looking a valley. I think it is breath-taking. I would go there as well.

Sure, About 2 hours away there is a small, I mean SMALL town called Tortilla Flats, it is East of Mesa on Apache Junction. There is a cool restaurant that is wall papered in dollar bills. It is an old cowboy town, use to be a stage stop. Great burgers and a cool ride out. winding roads, past a large lake. It is just a beautiful drive. A lot of people ride out on there motorcycles.

Also near Tuscon is a town called Bisbee, it is a larger version of Jerome. Very quaint.

I would also check out Prescott, they have a Micro-Brew restaurant. Get the Fried Fish, I had the chile, Its ok but people rave about the fish more. If you hate fish, they also have good Burgers. The town is interesting as well. Kind of reminds me of "Leave it to Beaver", that old 1950's show.

And of course, Grand Canyon and Sedona. These are must sees

Get on I-17 & head north. Prescott-Jerome..Strawberry-Pine..Sedona..Oak Creek..Flagstaff..Grand Canyon.

Hey Rocky, if you can stand to be seen with a guy on a Kawi, let's go ridin'. I love the back way to Prescott (Yarnell Hill !!), but never went as far as Jerome.
