Arkie, NO, please don't buy anything! Just come along with me. Here, hold these two cans of 30-06 ammo. Try to keep up, willya?

LOL!!!

I can just see that. Come on now, your lagging behind. Here hold this.
Now don't drop it, no you can't sit down. Just a few hundred more tables and then you can rest.

I just confirmed with the boss and my brood will leave Dallas about 1900 hrs after my daughter has her belt test at Jiu-Jitsu and get to Tulsa about midnight. I plan on being at the show on Saturday morning. I have "honey dos" in the afternoon and the trip back on Sunday. Holar at me Chris when it gets closer. I plan on staying at a Hilton to avoid the outlaws (oops the wife's family).

As a former resident (ie misplased Tulsan) of the Tulsa area (aka Green Country) and having attended gun shows in several large cities and different states, this is the best show for size and products. I "though" when I moved to Texas that their gun shows would live up to the state phrase of "everything is bigger in Texas" but they are SOOOOOOOO wrong. Thus the vacation days and the 10 hour round trip (ok I'll make it in less, LOL) just to drewl and touch.

Unhappy

Bad news guys looks like I'll be working that weekend.

Dang it! This is the 3rd year I've missed out on the Spring Tulsa show.

Also the 2nd time I've missed out on meeting Chris face to face if he remembers one road trip he did back in the PN days.

Oh well maybe something'll change.

Steve - Watch out for a PM end of weekend - early next week - I'll be sending my cell # to y'all and would ask for return PM's with y'all's own cell #'s.

Then with luck - touch base via cell and manage a quick ftf.

Dang it Ed - sorry to hear that.

Indeed yes that trip I did June 2003, I was hoping to swing a track a bit North and West on way thru but time was not gonna let it happen - as we were set to make the Dallas market hall for the show next day.

Well - anyone at work you can bribe??? Hey - can't be too long of a journey for you - your close to OK anyways! Oh well - pity - but if something should change do post back and let us know eh.

Chris- With my kind of current work you never know things may change.

I hope you all have a safe trip and fun at the show.

Sometimes it's nice just to see the different firearms on display and a good many people walking around with firearms on their person.

I heard it thru the grapevine...

Ya'll talking about me when I ain't here...tsk...tsk...

I cannot deny or confirm that a poster may be placed at the entrance to this Tulsa show with instructions under my picture to ...err...

Not gonna do any denying or confirmin' about every dad-burned 870 28 ga may have been handeled by me more than once...nope not gonna do it.

Ditto X <I forget> any rumors I was drooling - my allergies kicked in. I am allergic to ALL them thangs all 'splayed and I don't have 'em. Benedryl don't seem help neither...

I can for sure state that Model 12 in 28 ga sure was purty!! Only $4800 and I was only $4799 short...

I can for sure state that the state of CO only sells one model of 4 door sedan in only one color. Larry's wife Sandy drives a 4 door sedan with CO tags. I play chauffer , come back out of a store and thought I'd walked out onto Car Dealership...in CO.

I did not lose the car, had upteem dozens just alike to choose from- I was just curious if Sandy's key fit anyone else's.

They may sell only one make and model of 4 door sedan in only one color in CO - they do change up the keys and locks. In case you ever wondered.

I get dibbs on shouldering the first 28 ga.

Also bet Larry and Chris get lost first. I do not get lost, No matter where I is - there I is at.
