Hey Steve - I am hoping ''lost'' only means making another cell phone call

Hi Chris

I say again - I did not get lost. The girl in the Cowboy hat got lost.

See Tulsa is like going hiking, every thing one "totes" adds weight. I do not have a cell phone, so I save a few ounces right there. Like being in the woods, one takes bearings , uses landmarks.

I used the good looking gal in jeans and Cowboy hat as a landmark - right there looking at 1911s. I go to the men's room and either she got lost, or the dealer removed all the 1911s and replaced them with K, L frame revolvers when got back to my landmark ...

I was not thru looking at 1911s...was planning on checking out the Wheeguns anyway....seemed like a good time to do so...

So just like hiking, only not my fault my landmark up and moved...
oh, I did not run into the coke machine, it pulled out in front of me to hide another landmark... I was using a gal with jeans and backpack, for a second one...she was looking at the DG ammo that was $192 for 10 rds best I recall...BIG ctgs for BIG Critters!!

I was perzactly were I was at. Landmarks moved...

I swear...

We hadda let the women in on this. Sandy has me running around stocking up things to take. We need munchies for Friday night, paper plates, napkins, SIX bottles of wine, salsa, dill pickles, canned pears for Sadie. And then there's the drinks for the drive, Sprite, Water, Pepsi, you name it. Camera, clothes, jeez, you would think we were going to be gone for two weeks...

Good thing we're taking a truck.

"Get up and get busy. I swear, you would take off with just the clothes on your back and a cooler full of beer, if I wasn't around"

~Sandy

I see nothing wrong with that.

See you all there.

Haha - I'll get some pics RR hopefully - and do a write-up for y'all.

Larry - Bonnie bless her is leaving it up to me pretty much - I am the one thinking of the snacks, soda's - and all other paraphenalia!! She like me in fact could readily survive on not a lot. My main deal is having enough to fill the small case but leave room enough (just) for my gun case - am only bringing SW99 as sure don't want 226 to go astray!

Sandy - ''don't give Larry a hard time - ya hear''!!

dakota - PM me your cell # and I'll return one with mine. Thinking right now that if folks call my cell towards 12 noon - then maybe we can all manage a brief meet at a good spot, easy to find.

Again...

The Marriott. We should be there around 5:00, probably more like 4:00.

We'll set out the snacks and drinks, y'all are welcome to stop by. You'll have to ask for the Larry Ashcraft room, as my two brothers will be there also.

Look for the big black Silverado crew cab diesel in the parking lot.
