South Florida Shooting Sports reopens, new name, new location

Not sure if this is the right place to post this, please feel free to move it.

The original range, by Indiantown was very nice; too bad it was closed by the County early this year.
This one is quite a bit further from West Palm Beach, but it is the only outdoor range in the area (that I know of) and you could bring your own ammo !
As soon as I find the time to check it out, I'll post a report; if you go, please do the same.

The old club memberships will be prorated for the time remaining on the membership, NOT for the time from when the old club was shut down for zoning violations.

I am sorry Fish there seems to be some confusion. South Florida Shooting Sports memberships are accepted at the new Okeechobee Shooting Sports and 7 months were added to each membership for the time it took to open the new facility. I am not sure what you are referring to?

Yes the range is 15 min further than South Florida Shooting Sports but it was as close as we could put it. Thank your local Politicians for your drive.

It is a beautiful country drive and we hope to see you out there.

Thanks for clarification re membership extension.

Would you care to expand on that re the reason the old range was shut down?
There are a lot of "rumors" re the reason for the shut down, floating around in the local shooting community.
