folks from the last frontier.

So who here is from the Great state of Alaska. Im in anchorage but spend the fishing season in ketchican. go trident seafoods.....(btw I run a boat, not work in the cannery)

There is welding jobs all over. if you start to look threw adn.com there is a good employment section.

also the juneau paper(online).

then there is the north slope they got 16 miles of pipe to replace if you have a pipe cert. the companies up there are

BP of course and
veco. do a search on any of those and your bound to find something.

I was stationed at Elmendorf AFB from 1979-1983. We left only to go back. I worked at The Frameworks on 36th and went to UA. We now live in Nortwestern Montana. Some day I hope to show my wife the beautiful state of Alaska. Many good memories there.

Beautiful country up there. Been twice in the summer when i was bit younger. Hopefully ill be able to go back again, i think ill appreciate it a bit more.
