Greetings from the Big Soggy

Greetings from way down yonder near New Orleans, LA, the city that recently received a hurricane-enduced enema. I'm another visitor that found out about this forum from PDO. Hoping to find some good info. I like what I've read so far.

I'm a private sector fire investigator working mostly with the legal and insurance industries. I was formerly a Fire Prevention Chief with a local municipal fire department and was commissioned through the Sheriff's Office as an LEO-Arson Investigator.

Welcome, GPS, how ya'll are? I am from Alabama and returned here in 1995 after 14 years in NOLA. I was especially glad last year that I was gone. Still have many friends that went through terrible times. My wife's brother lost everything. He now lives in Roanoke, VA. He is fortunate that he is retired and can live where he wants, so many don't have that option.

Glad to have you here and join in anytime.

HI GPS - I initially thought re ''soggy'' you were down South TX where the rains have just been severe today. 13" they said in some areas
