New Guy from TX

Hello everyone--

I'm new to the forums-- excited to get to talk to some of you who have quite a bit more experience with carrying concealed than I do! I'm a musician who recently moved to Lubbock, TX and I am loving it up here!

I recently bought a Kimber Ultra Carry SS, and am thrilled with it so far. I'm trying to figure out a good way to compensate for it not having the checkering on the front of the grip like the CDP. What do y'all think about the Pearce grips?

Anyway-- glad to be here!

Welcome. Don't know anything about Pearce grips, but I have not doubt that someone here will.

Welcome. I spent a year in Lubbock at TT back in 1969-70. Woke up every morning with sand everywhere.

Welcome to CC

I have no Pearce grips myself but do hear pretty positive feedback on them. Seemingly they do nice ones for the old Makarov too.

Yeah, red dirt is everywhere out here. Never was allergic to anything before moving up here-- now I have a laundry list of allergies to deal with. This place is crazy, but I do love it.

I'm only a block away from TTU.

Where would be a good place to discuss the Pearce grips further?

Welcome

Hey join right in.
Plenty of folks here from the Lone Star State.

Be active on the forum...we'll love hearing from you.

You can open up a thread on pearce Grips in General Firearm or Related Gear & Equip.

Have you seen the checkered front strap "add ons" yet?
They've been around for ages. They look pretty good but, (of course) not as great as hand checkering.

Who makes them folks ~ WILSON
Are they still being made?
