Welcome to the forum.

I'll second what's been said. You found the right place to ask any questions you may have and definitely get training. Find something you like and have fun.

Welcome and congratulations on discovering the joys of shooting! It sure is a lot of fun isn't it? Very demanding fun that requires your undivided attention, but fun nonetheless.

Hi Eva,
Welcome to the US. Good luck on the ccw but I think you will find citizenship is not required to obtain a concealed weapon license. My wife is also an immigrant and is not a US citizen. She has had her permit for years. The requirements are "legal residency" and resided in the state for minimum 6 months. You did not state how long you have been in the US but it takes about 5 years to become a citizen. Get the training and the permit now...citizenship will come in time.
Be Blessed and welcome again.

Welcome Eva!
You have come to the right place if you want to learn from probably the best source of info on CCW.
I know, I have benefited too.

If loose gun laws are good for criminals, why do criminals support gun control?
