Hello there from Georgia.
Hi everyone. My name is Mitch and I live in the Atlanta area.
I was recommended this forum by a couple friends and I most certainly have not been disappointed. This forum is outstanding, as I have been reading alot of threads in the past week or two. I already have learned a substantial amount of knowledge in a very short amount of time and I hope to continue to do so as time goes on. My background is military. 5 years in the Marines in the Air Wing and now a few years working with a government contractor. Just recently picked up my first handgun. A Glock G19 9mm. Just finished today with the Sheriff's office getting fingerprinted for a CCW permit. Was told to expect a 4 month wait. So hopefully close to Thanksgiving, I will be conceal carrying. Which is fine with me, b/c I have alot of reading to do, alot of mental conditioning to do, along with an abundance of range time and hopefully some classes tossed in. Thanks all and I look forward to receiving great info, advice and opinions and hopefully being able to give my own opinions and advice. (Definitely more of the former, than the latter, at least at this point in time.  ) |
