'Morning From Oklahoma .....
.... with a North Carolina drawl ........
I'm a retired AF officer, born & grown in NC, and calling OK home for the last 11 years or so. I ran across your group via another forum, and it's just what I've been wanting to find. OK is a "shall issue" state, and I've found that just opens the door to my wallet to all kinds of necessities. My most recent search is for a "perfect" carry 1911 .. a bit smaller and lighter than my full sized guns. I'm looking at Kimbers, Smiths, Paras, etc., and yes .. I've been diligently studying the complaints about each manufacturer on various forums and it's a bit distressing to tell the truth. But, there's no hurry as I have a couple of other carry weapons to choose from. But, if you have experiences, either good or bad, concerning the mentioned manufacturers, please let me know. I'm a member of the NRA, VHA, and USCCA (which is absolutely great). It's nice to be among like-minded folks. Good to meet y'all .... hope your day isn't as hot as ours is going to be (about 108). But .. it's a dry heat cray |
