Thanks everyone for the welcome messages. Yes, I've heard that if you live in OC you will likely be approved for CCW permit. LA County, on the other hand, is very unlikely. But I suppose that if nothing else, applying for a permit in LA County will help send a message and bump up a statistic for the number of permits applied for.
